What We Do:

EventQuip provides rental tents, floors, lighting, generators and climate control for special events within 150 miles of Philadelphia. We are experienced at outfitting events of all types, styles and sizes.

Our History:

Company President Edwin Knight first installed a rental tent in 1982 while working for a tool rental store. He continued to work in the rental industry until he founded Celebration Rentals in 1994. Celebration Rentals started with an inventory of two tents, twenty tables and two hundred chairs. Our passion for our work and its resultant pursuit of excellence enabled us to gain the faith of the area’s best event planners, party hosts and caterers.

The company quickly grew to its current capabilities: we stock over 700 tents, state of the art flooring systems, and all other necessary aspects of the most reliable event infrastructure. More importantly, we have gained another asset – an experienced staff of dedicated professionals. The company now employs several Certified Event Rental Professionals.

Over the years, the company has made many changes. One of the first was to sell our entire tent inventory after our first year and upgrade to a brand of tenting that allowed us to fulfill the more demanding needs of our clients. As a result, we are able to provide what many other local rental companies cannot: a line of customized tents whose design and fabric can be selected to suit the unique needs of each event.

In 1996, we moved to a larger facility in order to accommodate the rapid growth of our inventory and staff. Yet, within two years needed to expand again. Soon the company was achieving international recognition for its outstanding work in the event rental industry. Edwin Knight is now in demand as a speaker at several international training seminars each year, and every member of our staff remains dedicated to the principles and visions that started the company down its path to excellence.

After many years the name Celebration Rentals no longer accurately reflected what we had been so fortunate to become. In 2005, the working name of the company officially changed to EventQuip.

Our Future:

As EventQuip looks to the future we will continue to provide the best event infrastructure available to our valued clients, and we hope to forge new relationships in our quest to create successful special events.
