The clients asked that an active construction site be turned into a wedding reception site. Earthmoving equipment was hired to excavate a sloping yard of loose fill and soil mounds to provide a firm footing for a bi-leveled floor with supports ranging from two to seven feet in height. A 28 foot tall tree was replanted in the yard to allow the tent to be centered with the house. |

Limited access for heavy equipment on site required a 14-man crew to raise the center poles for the 100 by 80 foot Academy Series 2000 tent. A custom house connector was placed between the house and the dining tent. Two Academy 20 by 40 foot frame tents were installed on an angle in the remaining yard area to serve the caterers needs. | ||||||||||

When complimented with 3,000 yards of backlit silk for a ceiling, 120 tons of portable air conditioning and strategically placed wall draping, the guests were unaware that the house and grounds were still under construction.
