EventQuip
created over 23,000 square feet of tenting for the Scantastic 2002 Event.
This space was needed to cover the multi-levels of marble steps, landings,
and sprawling lawns in front of historic Memorial Hall in Philadelphia's
Fairmount Park. A 60' x 240' white tent with peaks reaching 25' high
was erected as the Main Tent. To keep the 1,500 guests, 120 restaurant
vendors, 100 volunteers and over 20 different entertainment groups under
cover, 13 additional connecting tents and marquees were built. The proceeds
from this culinary extravaganza went to benefit SCAN (Stop Child Abuse
Now).
